TERMS AND CONDITIONS

UK Carriage. Carriage to retailer's premises on mainland UK, Northern Ireland and the Irish Republic is included.

Rest of the World Carriage. The prices quoted are ex-factory. Additional changes will be made for loading containers, delivery to shippers or other destinations, special packaging and insurance. Customers will be liable for all import duties and taxes of the country to which the furniture is despatched. Port duties and ocean freight are for the consignees account.

VAT will be charged where applicable at the rate in force at the date of delivery. Customers in the Irish Republic will be invoiced for customs duties and VAT if applicable.

THE COMPANY reserves the right to alter any of the prices or to withdraw or modify models, without prior notification. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, goods will be invoiced at the price ruling on the day of dispatch.

THE COMPANY shall not be liable for damages arising out of delay in delivery.

Trade Descriptions Act, Merchandise Marks Act. The terms mahogany, yew or oak when applied to any furniture may denote colour or finish only and shall not be interpreted to mean that the article concerned is constructed wholly or in part of that material.

All measurements are approximate and are taken overall to maximum dimensions and rounded to the nearest centimetre.

Goods should be examined immediately on receipt. Notification of any defects must be received by Bevan Funnell in writing five working days of delivery. We cannot accept responsibility for any damage reported after this time.

The risk in the goods shall pass to the purchase on delivery but the legal and beneficial ownership of the goods shall remain with Bevan Funnell until the purchase price is paid in full, each order being considered as a whole. Nevertheless, the goods may be resold provided the resale are paid to us to the extent necessary to discharge in full the amount due to us at sale price to the hole of the order of which the goods form part.

 For any complaints deemed by Bevan Funnell to be justified, Bevan Funnell reserves the right to compensate the purchase either by repair or by replacement or by refund. Other claims in particular for consequential damages are excluded.

Bevan Funnell makes every effort to respect quoted delivery dates but cannot accept liability for any costs or damages arising from a failure to deliver as quoted.

Bevan Funnell is entitled to withdraw from its supply commitments in cases where the purchaser files for bankruptcy, makes a composition with its creditors or fails to pay for previous deliveries.

Bevan Funnell now operates a Cancellation Policy. In the event that an order is cancelled, Bevan Funnell reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee. Full details of the cancellation policy are available from the Sales office.
